{"id":1027,"date":"2016-06-18T17:47:01","date_gmt":"2016-06-19T00:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lawderd\/?p=1027"},"modified":"2016-06-18T17:47:01","modified_gmt":"2016-06-19T00:47:01","slug":"great-potato-harvest-potato-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lawderd\/2016\/06\/18\/great-potato-harvest-potato-party\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Potato Harvest &#038; Potato Party!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Spuds in Tubs have been growing since March and we were finally were able to harvest them on Friday. \u00a0The Primary classes met outside and dug our hands into the soil to harvest our lovely potatoes! \u00a0It was amazing to see how big some of the potatoes were this year. \u00a0 We found lots of bugs too! \u00a0Mr Brown&#8217;s &amp; Mrs March&#8217;s classes counted the potatoes \u00a0&#8212; we harvested 681 Spuds this year! \u00a0Later in the day we cooked them and met as a group to make potato sundaes with butter, sour cream, cheese, salt &amp; pepper. \u00a0Yum!!
