During his time at Beacher Prep, August finds people who would stand up for him and fight for him, even if it would put them in harm\u2019s way. Jack Will used to only care about being popular. After Jack Will became August\u2019s friend, he learned about humiliation and being treated like dirt. In the fight with the 7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Graders, August, Jack, Amos, and Miles fought them off. After the fight, everyone recognized August\u2019s courage. Later, August becomes recognized and earns everyone\u2019s respect. He was finally accepted and appreciated by other kids! All of August\u2019s friends were lifted up. All of them didn\u2019t care about what others might\u2019ve thought about them because they were happy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">August inspired others, and even though he was labeled as different, he showed bravery and rose above the cruelty of others. He showed bravery, helpfulness, and kindness (Even to his enemies). This way, he carried up the hearts of others by his own attraction. He carried those hearts up because of what he was on the inside, not the outside.
