They were interesting, rich, funny, and showed us how much love we have for our families!<\/p>\n<p>And WELL DONE to Div. 3 for their great I AM FROM poems, which were displayed in the front foyer. Warms my heart to hear <em>all about you<\/em> and your families!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2016\/02\/family-day.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3499 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2016\/02\/family-day-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"family day\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>_______________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Wow! January has come and gone, and Family day is upon us\u00a0already! As you know, I&#8217;ve been asking parents and family of Division 3 to come and <strong>share a story<\/strong> with us this Friday, Feb 5th, when we will be celebrating Family Day (no school Feb 8th, so students can spend time with their families!). Be sure to come to Maywood to see our &#8220;<strong>I Am From&#8221; poems<\/strong> displayed throughout the school.<\/p>\n<p>The week after that is <strong>Jump Rope for Heart<\/strong> (Friday, Feb 12).<\/p>\n<p>In Science, we have begun learning about <strong>human body systems<\/strong> and research will begin shortly!<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3445\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2016\/02\/IMG_7160-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7160\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Art, we&#8217;ve recently finished our winter scene paintings, and this week we will begin working with <strong>clay<\/strong>.<a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2016\/02\/IMG_7161.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3446 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2016\/02\/IMG_7161-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7161\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! &#8230; to the parents who came in and shared a family story with us Friday morning.
