There are certain guidelines about how to create this list, but it might include information about such resources as books, magazines, images, movies, interviews, and so on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do I need one?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You must credit other people\u2019s work! If you are borrowing ideas, images, and wording from others, you must give credit to them otherwise it\u2019s plagiarising\u2026 that, and your teacher may not accept your assignment without one.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>There are two different way to cite your work. Please use the MLA8 (8th edition) style.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p>For <strong>MLA<\/strong> style, take a look at\u00a0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/lanawayk\/files\/2018\/11\/MLA-style.pdf\">this<\/a><\/strong> document.<\/p>\n<p>Go to this<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibme.org\/mla\/website-citation\"> BIBME<\/a> link to help you do it automatically. There is also a lot of good information on\u00a0 <strong>Burnaby South&#8217;s Library <\/strong>page. Navigate to &#8212; &gt; <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/south-library\/mla-style\/\">Research page<\/a>:<\/p>\n<div class=\"example\">\n<p>\u00a0<strong>TIPS: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use\u00a0<strong>MLA\u00a0citation style<\/strong>\u00a0unless your teacher tells you to use another one.<\/li>\n<li>Organize citations in\u00a0<strong>alphabetical order<\/strong>\u00a0by first word.<\/li>\n<li>If you are\u00a0<strong>citing a database<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g., Science in Context) or online encyclopedia, you can find the citation at the end of the article. \u00a0Just\u00a0<strong>copy and paste<\/strong>. For the encyclopedia, choose the MLA version.<\/li>\n<li>Citing websites:\n<ul>\n<li>Online citation-makers will help you cite websites, but you might need to check back to the website to find all the necessary details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be sure to<\/strong>\u00a0include a publisher in your citation.
