Meet our class pets: stick insects! We have five stick insects in the classroom, and we\u2019ve been learning all about their life cycle, diet, habitat, and behaviour. These amazing insects are masters of disguise. They can stand perfectly still for hours, pretending to be sticks! They camouflage so well with their surroundings that sometimes it\u2019s really hard to spot them. Our stick insects are still growing, and they will molt 4\u20135 times before reaching adulthood. We\u2019ve already seen them molt once, and it was absolutely fascinating!<\/p>\n
