June<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re wrapping up Recorder Heroes Level Two<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Students in Divisions 4, 5 and 6 will be playing their Key Quest for Ms. Karlson by June 5th to pass Level Two<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We have 2 students who have already reached Star Level<\/strong> in Recorder Heroes – Carson and Ira in Division 4<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Some of the children have decided to take on the Alto Challenge<\/em><\/strong> and begin learning the fingering on the Alto Recorder.<\/p>\n

In June, we will learn a piece that has alto recorder, soprano recorder and a simple bass xylophone part. We will put those parts together to finish off recorder playing for this school year. The piece is accessible to all levels of learner, and will give us a good finish to all of the hard work the children have been doing this school year. Whether they choose the new kind of recorder and new fingerings for a challenge, the soprano recorder part, which is a little tricky to play, but on a familiar instrument or a simple, yet important xylophone part, the children should all find an accessible challenge in their part.<\/p>\n
