The leadership students are hosting a Talent Show coming up on June 5th!
Sign-ups are happening right now in the music room!
After you sign up for an audition for the Talent Show, take a notice and jot down your audition date and time. Then get your parents to sign the back of the form. ONE FORM PER AUDITION (group or solo)
Here are the guidelines for acts that will be considered for the Talent Show:
Each performance:
- Needs to be well practiced and rehearsed
- Is to be a creative, lively, thoughtful and entertaining presentation
- Is to be no longer than five minutes
- Must include appropriate language, dress, actions and topic
- Must contain no violence or put downs of others
- Must have age appropriate lyrics
Each performer:
- Needs to provide his/her own equipment, except for use of the piano, music stand, audio player and sound system
- Must wear the same outfit for the audition and show
- Must provide own background music for performances in dance, singing, gymnastics, etc.
- For singing auditions, background music must not contain the vocal part if the child is singing
Practices will need to done outside of school
The talent show is completely voluntary – only children interested in sharing a talent need sign up for an audition
