I am new to Inman school this year. Please visit my biography page to learn more about me and my philosophy for teaching.
I will be posting important events here in the Inman performing arts world.
Not only will I be teaching music to Inman students, but we will be doing activities in drama, dance, and very occasionally in the visual arts. I believe that all of the arts are interconnected and important to each other. Music relies on expression to come alive, therefore, drama is important to help us create and convey those stories and emotions. Music makes us move – dance and music go hand-in-hand – especially for children, who just want to move! And we will draw, colour, create props, costumes, sets, stories, that go with the music we listen to.
I hope to learn as much about the Inman children in September to find out where best to start their arts learning with me this school year. I am looking forward getting to know them in only a few days. 🙂
