Congratulations to our intermediate students who put on a wonderful school concert! It was spooky and spectacular – spooktacular! Just ready for our spooky fall season.
The intermediates made all of the props, spent all of September and most of October rehearsing their dances and acting. They really stepped up to the plate!
An apology for anyone who was missed in the programme including Armaan Parwana and Stefanie Pizzen who played the Firefighter and the Police Officer respectively.
Now the intermediates will concentrate on learning how to read music on the staff and play instruments. The grade 4/5 classes will be playing the soprano recorder. The grade 5/6 classes will be playing all sizes of recorder, the xylophones and the chimes. The grade 6/7s will be playing the chimes.
Here is a short video to get the intermediates in the mood for learning how to play their instruments. It takes practice every day to get proficient on an instrument – it’s not magic!
