HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Hello Division 10 families!

I hope that you are all having a great weekend – the sun is finally shining and it feels more and more like summer!  We are doing some yardwork and  having a family dinner with chocolate cake!  I hope that you take time today to say thank you to your fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, and all of the other important people in your life.

I look forward to seeing all of you this week when you come to pick up your report cards.

Kindest regards,

Dana Herdman

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Hello Division 10 Families!

I hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend!  We have been fortunate with such beautiful and warm weather.  I hope that you were all able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine with your families – maybe do a scavenger hunt!  At my house, we watched two hummingbirds drink from our hummingbird feeders – it was fascinating to see how quickly their wings flapped as they drank!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all of the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, sisters, and special friends in your lives and mine.  I am so grateful for my mother and many other special people in my life who have shared their laughter and kindness with me over the years.  Please remember to say thank you to your special people today as well.

I look forward to our telephone conversations this week and hearing all about your Mother’s Day celebrations as well as other activities you’ve been up to!

Kindest regards,

Mme. Dana Herdman

Bonjour et Salut mes amis!

I hope that you all had a wonderful, restful weekend!

Look at all of the daffodils (les jonquilles) growing along the side of the portable!  Can you remember when we planted them on that rainy day?  It was so wet many of the bulbs were floating!  They sure look beautiful now!  Many, many thanks to Mme. Matousek for providing all of the students with bulbs!

I have posted this week’s assignments under the WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT tab above.  The password is the same as last week.  I will also email your assignments to you this evening.  You will notice on the assignment page that each of you now has a RAZ KIDS online reading account set up.  When I call you this week, I will give you your password.

I am looking forward to seeing you this afternoon during Aubrey’s Car Parade!  I can’t wait to see your smiling faces!
