Hi students! A couple of weeks back I interviewed my Dad about his recorder collection – if you haven’t watched the interview already, you should! It’s here on my blog. While he was sampling the different recorders he played a song called the “Skye Boat Song”, and I mentioned that I would post the music for my recorder students. I also made a video of myself singing and playing the song.\u00a0 I had a little fun trying out a new app called “Acapella”. The link to the video is below the picture!<\/p>\n

I recorded this in my study at home,\u00a0 no microphone or editing done so it’s a bit rough, but I thought it would be fun to share with you and encourage you to try! The words to the song appear in the bottom of the screen as I sing it. I have also made a Muse Score file with the notes for recorder, the words for singing, and the chords for playing Ukulele (or guitar). The blue\/green words are link to a PDF, and I’ve included a screenshot below.<\/p>\n
