We read a book called the “The Colors of Us<\/strong>” by Karen Katz.\u00a0 This story celebrates the differences and similarities that connect all people, including our many shades of color.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, the children were challenged to look in the mirror to identify their unique characteristics.\u00a0 Then, they created these amazing self-portraits using loose parts. We took pictures of their creations and they wrote about themselves, including some of their likes and dislikes.<\/span><\/p>\n
