Pacific Opera Victoria and Vancouver Opera are thrilled to present a\u00a0free broadcast\u00a0<\/strong>of the new family opera\u00a0The Flight of the Hummingbird<\/a><\/em>online May 19, 2020, at 10 am PDT. Available on\u00a0Facebook Live<\/a>,\u00a0Youtube<\/a>,\u00a0Instagram TV<\/a>\u00a0and Telus Optik TV channel 710.<\/p>\n

Thanks to your support, Pacific Opera Victoria and Vancouver Opera’s co-production of\u00a0The Flight of the Hummingbird<\/em>\u00a0took flight in January 2020 to schools across our province. The tour was stalled and community performances were cancelled due to COVID 19, but we are pleased to present a free online broadcast of the opera for families and educators. This new opera for young audiences is 45 minutes in length and will be followed by a Q+A with the cast.<\/p>\n
