Division 7 was surprised to find out how many seeds were in our pumpkin.   We put the seeds in groups of ten and then counted them.  There were 588 seeds.  We know that the size of the pumpkin doesn’t mean that there are more seeds.  We learned that a pumpkin has more seeds if it has a lot of ribs, and it is a darker orange.  That means that the pumpkin has been growing longer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
