MS;\">Division 10 learned that the polar bears have bodies that\u00a0are suited for living on the ice.\u00a0\u00a0Their unique features, or adaptations, help keep them\u00a0warm.\u00a0 <\/span>Polar bears have two layers of fur . . . an outer layer that\u00a0sheds snow, ice and water and a layer of dense fur that keeps heat from escaping.\u00a0 A polar bear also has black skin.\u00a0 The\u00a0skin\u00a0helps to attract heat.\u00a0\u00a0Under the skin is a thick layer of fat called blubber.<a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/gourlays\/files\/2015\/01\/adapt4.jpg\"><img
