And as with last time, <em>p<\/em><em>lease\u00a0make sure you read these instructions slowly, purposefully, and carefully<\/em>.\u00a0 Try to do each step in order.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll need time, so if you are seeing this just before class meeting, wait until after.<\/p>\n<p>Choose your own adventure: choose a painting and choose some music.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have always thought of myself as a painter derailed by circumstance.&#8221; ~ Joni<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<em> Outer Space<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>materials (a sharp pencil is your friend) (but don\u2019t tell your bed: it may get jealous)<\/li>\n<li>remove or turn off distractions<\/li>\n<li>clear workspace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.\u00a0 <em>Inner Space<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>body relaxed but aware (this takes a little time)<\/li>\n<li>connect to breath (so does this)<\/li>\n<li>clear head<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.\u00a0 <strong>Choose your painting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Either:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Right-click or control-click\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/gallery\/2019\/oct\/22\/turbulent-indigos-glorious-joni-mitchell-watercolours-in-pictures\">here <\/a><\/strong>to open a new tab or window, and then take a look until you find an image that calls to you. \u00a0You can use the expand tool in the top right of each image to make it larger.<\/p>\n<p><em>Or:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Right-click or control-click\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jonimitchell.com\/music\/\">here<\/a><\/strong> and choose one of the paintings Joni made for her album covers.
