**This is an <\/span><\/b>EXAMPLE<\/span><\/b> of what a gradual transition <\/span><\/b>can<\/span><\/i><\/b> look like, however, an individual, student-specific schedule will be created for each child entering the K+ Program.**<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This <\/span>is an example of a possible gradual entry plan for a student entering the Kindergarten-Plus District Program.\u00a0 <\/span>Gradual entries are for the benefit of the child<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0 We recognize how important it is for young children to feel comfortable and safe while at school which is why we provide a gradual entry for all our students.\u00a0 Gradual entry helps children familiarize themselves with the play centers, routines of the day, their peers, their new teacher & educational assistants.\u00a0 <\/span>Schedules will vary based on the presenting needs of each student<\/span><\/b>. Please note that a lot of research and time will be taken to craft a plan that will allow your child to be successful at school and provide a rough schedule to families during intake meetings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
