We are learning about force<\/strong> and motion<\/strong> in science.\u00a0 We have looked at all kinds of big machines that help us do jobs.\u00a0 We’ve also been building ‘machines’ (like the pinwheel and roto-copters) that explore force<\/strong> and motion. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Below are some links to some videos we’ve\u00a0 watched to learn about some of those big machines.\u00a0 These videos were provided by Mystery Science–we love the fun lessons with them we do every Friday.\u00a0 (Tomorrow we are building a ‘wrecking ball’ to knock over a ‘cup’ wall!)<\/p>\n

Today was our second visit to the construction site.\u00a0 On Tuesday we watched an excavator fill 2 dump trucks with dirt.\u00a0 This morning at the site, the workers were pouring cement.\u00a0 When they had a break between trucks, they came to ask us our initials to put in the cement!!\u00a0 So exciting.\u00a0 If you have a chance in the next 2-3 weeks stop by the site and see if you can see them. (they will be covered up after that)<\/p>\n
