Walk (using our neighbourhood map)<\/li>\n<li>Hidden Number Walk<\/li>\n<li>Numbers you can see Walk (house numbers, license plates etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today we did an &#8216;<strong>Underfoot<\/strong>&#8216; &amp; &#8216;<strong>Overhead<\/strong>&#8216; Walk&#8211;we had two questions to think about as we walked&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What do you notice about the world you are walking on???<\/li>\n<li>What is looking down on you as we walk???<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>One of the goals of these walks is to make us more aware of our surroundings&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/files\/2021\/05\/ps-triangle.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3841\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/files\/2021\/05\/ps-triangle.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"88\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>&#8220;I contribute to group activities that make my classroom, school, community, or natural world a better place.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This week your assignment is to go on a walk with your family.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose a purpose\/focus&#8230;you can choose one from above, or make up your own&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Then walk about&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>What do you notice????<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year, we have been spending a fair bit of time walking around our neighbourhood.\u00a0 Each time we go out, we have a purpose or focus in mind&#8211;often inspired by The Walking Curriculum.
