This project is an example of how we integrate a variety of subjects.<\/p>\n<h2>Curricular Competencies and Content:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Science <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;Plants and animals have observable features.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ask simple questions about familiar objects and events<\/li>\n<li>features of plants that help them meet their basic needs<\/li>\n<li>make and discuss observations made using their senses<\/li>\n<li>represent observations and ideas by drawing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Math<a
