\"\"<\/a>Yesterday for DRAMA <\/b>we created our own Story Telling Basket using a variety of toys and items from around our house.\u00a0 Then we set about creating our own stories using some of those items.<\/p>\n

We begin this process by choosing characters\u00a0<\/strong>and a\u00a0setting\u00a0<\/strong>for our story.\u00a0 After those decisions are made, we decide on a story problem.\u00a0 “<\/strong>What could ‘go wrong’ in our story??”\u00a0 Our last bit of planning involves a solution\u00a0<\/strong>to the problem–happy or sad–your choice.\u00a0 “How could the story end?” (You can look here for a story writing think sheet)\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

As we tell our stories, we have to keep our planning in mind.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In the beginning<\/strong> of the story, we introduce our characters <\/em>and the setting<\/em>.\u00a0 The middle<\/strong> of our story introduces the problem<\/em> we chose.\u00a0 While the end<\/strong> of our story reveals the solution<\/em>.<\/p>\n
