{"id":1304,"date":"2015-01-15T16:52:48","date_gmt":"2015-01-16T00:52:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/?p=1304"},"modified":"2015-01-16T16:17:15","modified_gmt":"2015-01-17T00:17:15","slug":"where-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/2015\/01\/15\/where-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Where In The World?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">We were very excited to leave\u00a0Australia and fly to Paris today. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">[metaslider id=1346]\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">It was great fun to visit Australia. \u00a0We learned about Australian Animals (like the kangaroo and koala) and read a lot of books by Australian authors like <a href=\"http:\/\/memfox.com\" target=\"_blank\">Mem Fox<\/a> and Jackie French. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">On our flight we dined on fromage (cheesy goldfish) and champagne (ginger ale). \u00a0This gave us\u00a0all\u00a0a chance to practice saying thank you in french! \u00a0<strong>Merci!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">As we arrive in France, we are prepared to learn about the language of this country and &#8216;see&#8217; it&#8217;s wonderful landmarks like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travlang.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/arc-de-triomphe_11.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Arc de Triomphe<\/a> and the Eiffel Tower. \u00a0Many of us have packed our cameras and can&#8217;t wait to take some shots of all the wonderful sights! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/files\/2015\/01\/tower.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-1305\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/files\/2015\/01\/tower-104x150.jpg\" alt=\"tower\" width=\"104\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">(Some of us have also brought bags of money to visit all the wonderful Paris shoe shops (hee hee)!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">We will also have a chance to learn about the wonderful artwork of Claude Monet&#8211;and try our hands at creating\u00a0a collaborative piece of art for the art show\u2026our very own <a href=\"http:\/\/uploads2.wikiart.org\/images\/claude-monet\/water-lilies-1919-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Waterlilies&#8217;<\/a>. \u00a0Get your check books out!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Au revoir!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were very excited to leave\u00a0Australia and fly to Paris today.
