{"id":739,"date":"2020-04-16T07:40:34","date_gmt":"2020-04-16T14:40:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/enchelmaierj\/?p=739"},"modified":"2020-04-16T07:40:34","modified_gmt":"2020-04-16T14:40:34","slug":"the-library-has-a-read-aloud-page","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/enchelmaierj\/the-library-has-a-read-aloud-page\/","title":{"rendered":"The Library Has A Read Aloud Page!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is <em><strong>Think About It Thursday<\/strong><\/em> and <strong>I think<\/strong> all of you have been doing so well with your academic and social learning.\u00a0 I have been able to view your reading passage and question work.\u00a0 Well done.\u00a0 Keep it up!\u00a0 Just as we do in the classroom with <strong>practice, practice, perform,<\/strong> we are going to take that same learning approach and apply it to our altered way of teaching and learning.<\/p>\n<p>As you work through the reading assignments, keep in mind that next week you will have another related set of stories to practice with.\u00a0 Next week the assignment results will be shared with you. During the week of April 27, (Monday, April 27 is a Pro-D Day) I will assign some repeat passages and those will be the reading passages that I consider for assessment.\u00a0 Always remember that learning is a process.<\/p>\n<p>I have also been touched by the words and creativity of the Cinquains that have been sent in.\u00a0 I am hoping to have a gallery page on the blog where I am able to share some of your work.\u00a0 The possibilities of Spring are endless and a connection to nature is coming out in your poetry.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of nature, I have seen a few slugs out and about on my trail walks.\u00a0 Usually in April\/May we start to see some snails slowly but surely making their way through the gardens.\u00a0 Just as there are social distancing signs up in the parks, there should be Snail Crossing signs so we don&#8217;t step on those silent creatures of the forest.\u00a0 Ms. Hossack has added a new feature to her blog.\u00a0 She has a page called Read Alouds.\u00a0 You can access this page by going to the menu tab at the top of her blog and clicking on Read Alouds.\u00a0 When you open the page it will say <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PASSWORD PROTECTED PAGE<\/span>!\u00a0 <em><strong>The password is library13<\/strong><\/em>!\u00a0 I will put all this information on my Mrs. Hossack library page.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 This weeks READ ALOUD is <em><strong>Snail Crossing<\/strong> <\/em>by Corey R.
