We want to share our appreciation for the financial support we received so that our class could be part of the B.C. Mobile Museum<\/strong> experience.\u00a0 Thank you, Ms. Gabas, for organizing this in-school field trip for our school.\u00a0 We were very interesed and curious.\u00a0 Here are some of our thoughts!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Andre<\/strong> – I was grateful that I learned about Indigenous houses of the past.\u00a0 \u00a0Bryan<\/strong> – I liked how Mr. Hardie explained the story of the artifacts.\u00a0 Alana<\/strong> – I liked the red cedar woven basket with the bell.\u00a0 Sunehra<\/strong> – I liked how Mr. Hardie told us about his Indigenous ancestors and how they stripped the cedar tree bark.\u00a0 Lucas<\/strong> – I liked touching the animal skins.\u00a0 Fadhili<\/strong> – I liked the animal furs, especially the Skunk and the Minx.\u00a0 Darien<\/strong> – I enjoyed wearing the cedar hat.\u00a0 Claire<\/strong> – I enjoyed touching the Sasquatch puppet and counting how many Sasquatch characters showed up on the screen. I also liked the obsidian; it had orange bits in it.\u00a0 Saiya<\/strong> – I liked\u00a0 touching the fur.\u00a0 Anthony<\/strong> – I appreciated how Mr. Hardie passed items around and I really liked holding the deer antler.\u00a0 Skylar<\/strong> – I learned that different animal furs feel different, they have different textures.\u00a0 Ella<\/strong> – I liked the animal skins because they were super soft.\u00a0 Megan<\/strong> – I liked learning about the bow and arrows because they were so interesting. I didn’t think they were real.\u00a0 Albert<\/strong> – I liked the fishing tool with the bone hook that we got to touch.\u00a0 Chloe<\/strong> – I think it was cool that there were stone beads. Samar<\/strong> – I liked the soft Minx.<\/p>\n

Students listened intently to Mr. Hardie, observed with their eyes, browsed with curiousity asking questions throughout their wander and had the chance to touch some artifacts.<\/strong> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
