We are starting the year off with many opportunities for literacy<\/strong>.\u00a0 Division 10 had some time to engage in word work activities<\/strong> today.\u00a0 We have a new reading corner<\/em> as well as magnetic word boards, words on the wall whiteboards, wood letter sorting boxes, ABC order letters, rhyme time wheels and poetry books as well as Boggle word builder pages.<\/em><\/p>\n

We also looked at a library resource called Tumble Books<\/strong> during our laptop time.\u00a0 It can be accessed at home from going to the Clinton Website, heading to Library and clicking on Web Resources<\/em>. We tumbled right into some good read-alouds and word games.<\/p>\n

Literacy Week<\/strong> will be coming up at the end of the month.\u00a0 Home reading will also be starting soon.\u00a0 Division 10 is going to work with both non-fiction and fiction so let the learning begin as we start a new year!<\/p>\n
