Prior to our pumpkin patch visit, we learned about the size of pumpkins, the colour of pumpkins and the number of seeds a pumpkin can have.\u00a0 It turns out that the amount of seeds is based on the amount of time a pumpkin has been given to grow in the field.\u00a0 It is not based on size.\u00a0 The more months on the patch, the more lines on the pumpkin and the darker it can become.\u00a0 The lines on the pumpkin indicate the lines of seeds inside.\u00a0 The darker the pumpkin, the longer it has been on the vine.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Division 10 made some pumpkin art of their own titled, Pastel and Pen Pumpkins.\u00a0 They created their own Pumpkin Patch with Pumpkin Possibilities!<\/p>\n

In class, students have been working on Reading Stamina.\u00a0 They are up to 10 minutes of independent reading.<\/p>\n

They have also been experimenting with Sink and Float and have concluded that most items in nature, during the season of Autumn, float rather than sink.\u00a0 This is just another story shared during our inquiry: What stories do the seasons share with us?<\/p>\n
