Our class has started a new math unit. We are studying patterns. To begin with we have discussed what we already know about patterns and we have gone into nature to view the natural patterns on our mountain. Here are some photos of the patterns we noticed.<\/p>\n

SPIRAL – also seen on a pineapple, nautilus shells and in galaxies.<\/p>\n

The class was very observant and really enjoyed seeing how these patterns present themselves again and again in nature.<\/p>\n
