If you require further assistance please contact the school learning support staff, school counselor, or school psychologist.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Who We Are<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>School psychologists use their knowledge and skills in the identification procedures and program planning for students with special needs including autism, other developmental disorders, learning disabilities, and behavioral disorders.<\/p>\n<p>All school psychologists who work in schools must be members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/chcpbc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">College of Health and Care Professionals of B.C.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>What We Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>School psychologists support students by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Consulting with school-based teams, school and district staff, parents, and community-based agencies and professionals<\/li>\n<li>Conducting psychological assessments of students that demonstrate educational, behavioral, and social-emotional difficulties<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting assessment results to support district and school-based staff in programming for their students<\/li>\n<li>Providing in-service workshops for teachers, parents, and other professionals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How We Collaborate<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img class=\"size-full wp-image-299 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/district-psychologists\/files\/2020\/05\/how-we-collaborate.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"423\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/district-psychologists\/files\/2020\/05\/how-we-collaborate.png 423w, https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/district-psychologists\/files\/2020\/05\/how-we-collaborate-300x273.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 423px) 100vw, 423px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The best way to contact us is through email or through the child\u2019s school.\u00a0 Here are our school assignments for the 2025-2026 school year.
