Students at this age are still learning to use a planner and may require reminders to bring it to school each day.\u00a0 We do not do planners if there are no announcements beyond the daily homework.\u00a0 Please check if your child has brought home their planner, and if they did, sign it<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here are the homework activities your child is expected to do everyday:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read every night for a minimum of 30 minutes. Put your book back in your backpack.<\/li>\n<li>Have your parent check and sign the planner.\u00a0Put it in your backpack for school the next day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other homework activities may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring your library books to school every week.<\/li>\n<li>Returning notices and forms to the school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All students are expected to use their planners to record homework, school activities, and announcements. \u00a0The goal is for the planner to help them remember what they need and to keep you informed.
