We had our final swimming session this week and, as always, it was a great afternoon!\u00a0 The water walkway was open … did you give it a go? What were your favourite things to do at the pool?<\/p>\n
There was some learning that took place as well this week:\u00a0 Although Friday was supposed to be our Confederation Park picnic day, the weather forecast did not look favourable at all, so the decision was made to stay at school and have a fun day here. How about you quiz your parents and see it they know the following abbreviations: PST, MST, CST, EST, AST<\/strong>, and NST<\/strong>.\u00a0 What do they think these are?\u00a0 Did any of them know that these are the abbreviations for Canada’s six time zones?\u00a0 We learned about why time zones are important and how they work in Canada. In the afternoon, we offered three movies ( based on the popular vote) and had the opportunity to watch either DOGMAN, YES DAY, or MOANA 2.\u00a0 What a great way to finish off the week.<\/p>\n![\"To](\"https:\/\/images.freeimages.com\/clg\/istock\/previews\/9839\/98398955-to-do-list-reminder.jpg\")
