Good morning Division 7,<\/p>\n

I hope you are all well and were able to complete some of yesterday’s tasks with ease.<\/p>\n

There are a few things I would like to discuss today before you head off to work:<\/p>\n

      Access to Microsoft Teams page<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I notice a handful of students were able to access our Microsoft Teams page. That’s great! This weeks purpose of teams is to, firstly, be able to access it, and secondly, explore the tabs and communication features. Please keep messages brief and widely addressed as this is not a personal chatroom. If you would like to exchange information with peers to have one-on-one chats, contact me and I can speak to your parents to possibly link you up.<\/p>\n

      The platform I was hoping to use for photo communication (FreshGrade<\/strong>) is glitching due to the server being overwhelmed (too many classrooms switching over!) To reduce technological frustration, I will try sending the codes in the near future when the rush of registration had died down a bit.<\/p>\n

      I noticed many students were not able to complete the assignments. I encourage you to attempt each task if your situation allows it. However, I understand that<\/p>\n

      2. Khan Academy<\/strong><\/h1>\n

      Please explore Khan Academy website. It is a great way to keep on top of math and the different concepts we are expected to learn in third term. I have “assigned” the focus topics which you can see when you access the website with our class code. Please go at your own pace.<\/strong> I will be able to see your activities and your progress. This will help me know where you are at.<\/p>\n

      I understand that some of you are already working with Khan Academy. Please try to link your account to our class code. If this is not possible, I encourage you to create a new account. This will be helpful because I have selected specific units for our class and I can track your progress.<\/p>\n

      a.) Morning Journal: “What’s going on in this picture?”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      We will be practicing our questioning and inferring skills by observing the following picture. Please follow the prompts below to help you make meaning of the picture. Make a comment on this blog post with your questions and inferences.<\/strong> I encourage you to comment on each other’s posts. Remember to provide evidence on your thoughts.<\/p>\n

      E.g. I think there is a celebration with different countries because of the confetti and the different flags. I wonder what they are celebrating?<\/em><\/p>\n

      They might be in construction or underground because of their uniform and the darkness. What do the different colour hats mean? Where are they?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
