Hope you are all well! There is not too much to discuss before jumping into the shape of the day:<\/p>\n
Please note that all the learning opportunities on the blog are suggestions for your learning day. Continue to go at your own pace and prioritize family time and needs. Do not hesitate to ask me for any clarification or tech help.<\/p>\n
To reduce the pressure of assignments\/deadlines, I will identify which assignments may want to be considered as priorities and which as extensions (optional). I will put an asterisk<\/strong> (*)<\/strong> on the assignment that I would like to see submitted. Even if the assignment is tagged a priority, please note that it is strictly dependent on your own situation. To-do: Priorities<\/span>: Extensions:<\/span> <\/p>\n Do you have a favourite book? Why is it your favourite? Who would you recommend it to?<\/p>\n Read for at least 20 mins.<\/p>\n Khan Academy seems to be working for most of you. You may be working on a separate program at home which is more than OK. The list of remaining math topics we are to cover for the remainder of the term are located in the “resources<\/a>” tab.<\/p>\n Alternative programs may include IXL, math worksheets, math games. Math is also everywhere — you may decide your math program is\u00a0 to identify everyday math (measuring while baking, estimating while planning, noticing patterns, finding “groups of”, etc.)<\/p>\n Continue the “And the Moral of the Story is…” assignment. I suggest you work on the writing stage today. Turn your planning into a story with paragraphs. You may decide to write on lined paper or type it up.<\/p>\n Once edited\/revised, please submit this to me (preferably through Microsoft Teams)<\/p>\n Continue creating your stable bridge at your own pace.
