Students are encouraged to wear:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clothing with Canada or maple leaf imagery<\/li>\n<li>Hockey or other Canadian sports jerseys<\/li>\n<li>A mix of red and white, or plain black<\/li>\n<li>Jeans or \u201cCanadian tuxedo\u201d style (denim tops and bottoms)<\/li>\n<li>Patchwork elements that can be temporarily added to clothing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\" border=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"height: 46px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 100%; text-align: center; height: 46px;\">\n<h5>The overall goal is to create a visually unified but varied look that reflects Canadian identity and storytelling.<\/h5>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Important Costume Piece for the Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the song\u00a0<strong>\u201cHere for a Good Time,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0all Thread Chorus members will participate in a staging moment where they will\u00a0<strong>remove a light jacket or shirt and place it into a pile on stage<\/strong>, helping us build a visual \u201cmountain of discarded clothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For this, please ensure your child brings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>light jacket or shirt<\/strong>\u00a0(something they are comfortable removing on stage)<\/li>\n<li>An item that is\u00a0<strong>okay to get slightly wrinkled<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>clearly labeled tag<\/strong>\u00a0with your child\u2019s\u00a0<strong>name and division<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Division 7 will be participating in the Spring musical, Woven: Threads of the True North, as part of the &#8220;Thread Chorus.&#8221;\u00a0 Please help your child put together a costume this week.
