There are two sites I would like to share with you, if you are interested in having your child read online at home to supplement their home reading.
(Tumble book Library)
To access:
- Go to the Armstrong School Website.
- Click on Library link above the picture of the school.
- Click on Web Resources.
- Click on “TumbleBook Library.”
- If your child wants to hear an Audio of the books, click on the orange “Read alongs” button!
GET 
This is similar to TumbleBooks. The website (which can also be downloaded as an app on your smartphone or iPad) has great books for all levels of readers. We have been using Get Epic as an option during Daily 5 for those that are working on “Listening to Reading”.
To access at home:
- download the app, or visit www.getepic.com/students, and enter our class code: nas1309. You will have a 30 day free trial use of this site.
- From there, your child can access hundreds of books that they can follow along to (the kids know to click on the “read to me” button if they want the books read out loud to them!)
