Big Ideas:
- Curiosity and wonder lead us to new discoveries about ourselves and the world around us.
- Stories and other texts can be shared through pictures and words.
What learning may look like:
- Continuing to read “just right” texts: Reading with fluency, phrasing and attention to punctuation
- Practicing readings strategies like; checking for sight words, sounding out letters, chunking (larger words), asking “Does it look/sound right or make sense?”, looking at picture clues
- Creating stories through video (orally) with toys/loose parts/piece of nature, or creating a story book
- Continuing to practice letter formation
- Practicing sentence structure and conventions (periods, capitals)
