Division 11 Home Learning Plan

Summer is here and I know many of you are feeling a bit sad that there will not be any more work posted so I thought I would provide a bonus week.. Why, you might ask? Why not!? I know that for many of you, although nothing seems normal right now, it also feels weird to start off the summer since most of you have already been home with your child(ren) for the past 12 weeks.

This week I am going to attach some different types of activities here and in a separate attachment. These are all optional and are being sent home for those who may want to use them. Please do have a look through as there are some neat things to do! You do not need to post anything or even send me an email but if would like to I would love to see your child’s work.  I will not be monitoring my email throughout the summer if any of you want to keep in touch. I hope you find some fun things to try with your child over the summer. Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you did during this last term of school. You were amazing!

Dear Children (Boys and Girls),

I am so proud of each one of you. You have worked so hard this year at school and at home. I loved our weekly class meetings on Zoom and seeing all of your great work your parent(s) have been sending me through email. I hope you have a wonderful summer and keep on learning and having fun. Here are two beautiful books I wanted to share with you. You can watch both of them or just one:

Dear Girl: Dear Girl,

Dear Boy: Dear Boy,

Here are a couple of songs for you to try. One is about a great school year and the other one is a funny good bye song. Celebrate a Great School Year      Good Bye Song

Keep reading, writing, exploring, asking questions, playing outside, and having fun!

Love,

Mrs. Chin
