Sept 6 – Started Chapter 2.1, 2.2 Notes on Exponents and Powers of 10, Zero Exponents<\/a><\/p>\n

Sept 10 – Chapter 2.3 Notes on Order of Operations With Powers<\/a><\/p>\n

Sept 12 – Chapter 2.4 Notes on Exponent Rules part 1.<\/a>   There will be a quiz next class on Ch 2.1-2.4!  Study the Mid-Unit Review.<\/p>\n

Sept 16 – Chapter 2.5 Exponent Rules part 2<\/a><\/p>\n

Sept 18 – Went over the quiz, did Scientific Notation Notes<\/a>.  Test coming in a week!<\/p>\n

Sept 23 – Answers to the practice test<\/a>.  Next class we are doing the chapter 2 test and handing in all chapter 2 homework (see the list and organize it in order!)<\/a>.  Be ready!  Note that Scientific Notation and writing numbers as powers of ten will also be on the Chapter 2 test!<\/p>\n

Sept 25 – Chapter test.  Next, we’re moving on the chapter 3, rational numbers. You’ll find the notes in the next tab!<\/p>\n

Sept 25\/26 – We had the Powers quiz, and then marked it in class.  Did Exponent Laws Part 2<\/a><\/p>\n

Sept 27\/28 – Went over homework, did the chessboard problem and scientific notation<\/a>.  Homework is to start the chapter 2 review.<\/p>\n
