Hope you all had a good weekend. The weather was odd! One hour it was pouring and then the other hour was sunny! Hopefully you were able to catch some sunlight!<\/p>\n

For math,<\/strong> both grades have 1 new lesson.\u00a0I will no longer be posting links to math lessons on Teams.\u00a0<\/strong>Instead, tutorials will be posted here on the class blog and also sent to your @edu.burnabyschools.ca<\/span> email.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For ELA,<\/strong> you will be reading about tropical rainforests. It is a different reading that goes more in-depth. Please read and then answer the response questions on the bottom. On Thursday, you will be reading about temperate rainforests and will need to compare and contrast the two types of forests, so my suggestion would be to print this reading out (if possible) and highlight KEY things that make this rainforest a tropical one.<\/p>\n Your last task of the day is to explore <\/strong>Ms. Ho’s website<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Click\u00a0here<\/span> <\/a>to access it. On Teams, there’s an assignment where you will tell me something on the website that you like and why you might want to try it. The website’s home page is still in construction but please click on the menu tabs that read “audio and ebooks\/ read alouds\/ games”.<\/p>\n\n
