Today we researched the different parts of the digestive system. You don’t need to be perfect with the order but try to follow the order below:
The rest will be due on Wednesday.
We worked on summarizing our picture book into a condensed single paragraph. Please have it done and edited by Wednesday.

We read a book about being okay at variety of activities. We discussed things that we are OKAY at. Afterwards, we wrote a little about why we are okay at our chosen thing. We emphasized writing with proper letter casing, grammar, and punctuation.

We started by learning the numbers 16 – 31, giving us all the numbers needed to successfully tell someone today’s date.
Afterwards, we learned the months of the year.
Finally, we put all that we’ve learned together and began forming simple phrases that tell us the date.
Uploaded the same thing you received in class today in case you forgot to bring it home and would like to practice!

We have been introduced to 2 different ways to multiply 2 by 2 digit numbers. Some of us are familiar with method 1: cross-multiplying and others have found method 2: using expanded form more helpful.
Use whichever strategy works best for you! This lesson should be challenging. Great work keeping up so far! We will continue working towards this on Monday.

We discussed all of our body systems and learned that they are all important to our survival.
We began exploring the circulatory system and learned that our heart is the key organ in this system. We did some exercise and tracked our heart’s beats per minute and learned that exercise keeps our heart pumping healthy blood around our body.
