10/20/21 – ELA – HOW TO… PROCEDURAL Writing
We worked on starting our main writing unit this term. We will focus on procedural writing, also known as HOW-TO writing.
I did a demonstration on how to brush my teeth using students’ initial instructions. It did not go well!
Watch this video to see why procedural writing is important!
Once done, take a look at the worksheet and begin revising your initial instructions. I will be bringing in my toothbrush, toothpaste, and cup next week and will once again, try to use your instructions to brush my teeth… live… in front of you.
