Allow your child to ask questions that can only be answered by\u00a0<em>&#8220;Yes&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>&#8220;No&#8221;.<\/em>\u00a0 For example,\u00a0<em>&#8220;Is it alive?\u201d \u201cDoes it have four legs?&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;Can it fly?&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;Is it in nature?&#8221; \u201cCan I play with it?\u201d etc.<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>I Went to Market:<\/strong>\u00a0The aim of this game is to remember as many of the items in the shopping basket as possible. The first player begins by saying, \u201cI went to market and bought a ___,\u201d adding an item they would buy. For example, \u201cI went to market and bought a bag of potatoes.\u201d The next player in line continues with, \u201cI went to market and bought (insert the name of the first player\u2019s item) and a ___ (adding a new item purchased).\u201d For example, \u201cI went to market and bought a bag of potatoes and a candy bar.\u201d Player three adds to the chain of shopping items, \u201cI went to market and bought a bag of potatoes, a candy bar and a newspaper.\u201d Players continue to take turns.
