Create three sentences using some of these words. Try to have one sentence that ends in a period(.), one that ends in a question mark (?), and one that ends in an exclamation mark (!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading: <\/strong>Read an article, book, advertisement, and identify the main idea. How do you know this is the main idea? (Be careful not to confuse a fact or detail with the bigger main idea of the piece).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science:<\/strong> Force and Motion Challenge: Can you make a simple machine that can move a toy hippo?\u00a0 Look at Ms. Su\u2019s question that she posted on our class Team&#8217;s site under library.\u00a0 Good luck!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"114\">Tuesday<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">\n<p><strong><u>Literacy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing:\u00a0<\/strong>Try to write down some facts about your animal for your research project or choose your favourite season and write a list of reasons for your choice. Think of something you know or decide on a topic to investigate online. Youtube (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/<\/a>) is a great place to learn things. [Make sure you ask your parents first.]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On a piece of paper, write your instructions. Make them clear so that anyone who picks up your book will be able to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Add diagrams or pictures to help others understand your instructions.<\/li>\n<li>If you have access to a computer, you can use any software to publish. (Examples might be Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, iMovie, or even a drawing app.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reading:<\/strong> Go to the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raz-kids.com\/\">Raz-Kids<\/a><\/strong><\/span> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getepic.com\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Epic Books<\/span><\/strong><\/a> free websites and read a book about the animal you have chosen to research or<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Math<\/u><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Go to the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.khanacademy.org\/join\/5JMCJ98F\">Khan Academy website<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and try the questions I\u2019ve assigned to you on multiplication and the commutative property or the new ones I&#8217;ve assigned for this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>DPA<\/u><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Got to Go Noodle or Youtube and teach someone in your house how to dance to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LMxtwzroMTQ&amp;list=PLn-XeRrRBdWGszqvStwiZNaW2sngAYQ4j\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Pop See Ko 2.0<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"114\">Thursday<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\"><strong>Literacy: <\/strong>Read or listen to a non-fiction book or article. Look for features such as photos, captions, or diagrams. Explain to someone how<br \/>\nthose things helped you to understand the topic.<strong><u>Reading:<\/u><\/strong> Go to <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/Raz-kids.com\">Raz-Kids<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.getepic.com\/\">Epic Books<\/a><\/strong><\/span> or one of the other websites suggested in your Animal Research project and continue reading and researching about your animal or Listen to a piece of music \u2013 describe how the music makes you feel. List your feelings. Tell a family member or friend why you love the piece. Maybe they\u2019ll listen to it.\u00a0 Go to Mr. TDs\u2019s Website <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lucastds.com\/\">lucastds.com<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and check out his weekly music activity if you are looking for music.<strong><u>Writing:<\/u><\/strong> Create a 4 to 6-frame comic strip based on a topic of choice.<br \/>\nDraw pictures and use speech and thought bubbles to show what<br \/>\nthe characters are saying and thinking.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Math:<\/u><\/strong> Go to<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.khanacademy.org\/join\/5JMCJ98F.\">Khan Academy<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abcya.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong> ABC ya math<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and try an activity of your choosing about multiplication. Or try to figure out this problem:\u00a0 Olivia\u2019s dog had 10 puppies. Olivia bought 2 beds for the puppies to share. At night, Olivia checked on the puppies while they were sleeping. How many puppies could Olivia have seen on each bed? Show all the ways the 10 puppies could share 2 beds.
