Does your soccer cleat affect your shot?

I was interested if a soccer cleat could kick a ball more powerful or accurate based on the material of the cleat. I was first interested in this topic when I was playing soccer with my team and someone said that the material of the soccer cleat didn’t matter. I kept on thinking about this and in my opinion I think that it doesn’t matter when your taking a shot. The soccer cleat does matter but I think that the way your shooting or the technique is more important than the material of the soccer cleat. The soccer cleat does matter because you have picked out the perfect pair yourself and it should be very comfortable for you. The cleats material does matter in a way of if its comfortable or if it fits you. How does this relate to math? Well this relates to math in a certain way of how heavy or light the shoe is. An average soccer cleat can range from 2.0oz or 10.7oz. I would probably get the medium weight because you wouldn’t want such a heavy cleat or a really light cleat.
