April 29

Great work on yesterday’s post. I’m impressed with those of you who found the mystery word. If you haven’t yet, look again and see if you can figure it out.
For today, I have some more math activities but also a few others. Remember to try one of the choices and let me know which one you decided to do.

  1. Hi Mrs. Armstrong,
For word work I think that ” A single Arrow is easily broken but not ten in a bundle ” means that one arrow is weak by itself and will break but ten in a bundle is strong altogether. I personally think that this phrase is trying to tell a message that you can be broken if you are with no one else but if you are with your friends you and your friends cannot be broken because together you are one big team.

  2. Hi Mrs. Armstrong,

I have been doing more khan academy lately and lots of epic. I love the books and most I love the videos you assigned me…… Oh I am wondering if you can assign me some cooking videos and science because whenever I am on it is malfunctioning.

    Thanks – Lauryn

  3. Word work
I think it means team work and trust your team and work together. If you stick together there is a lot less of a chance you will get bullied.

  5. I don’t remember ever doing tali marks or if we did I don’t remember how to do them but I do remember how to do all of the others.

  6. I am still reading Harry Potter and I am going to make an obstacle course right now. I will send you a picture of it threw email.

  7. I think the Japanese proverb (is that how you spell it?) means that a group is stronger then one.I honestly think it would take me one day to say 1000 words and it would take a year to read 1000 books (if I’m reading non stop). I will send you a pic of the other two.

  8. It takes me 20 minutes to say a thousand words.
It takes me 1 day to eat a thousand calories.
