Tuesday, April 28

Hi everyone! I hope you had a restful Pro-D. I attended 2 online workshops that were long but worthwhile.
I’ve decided to stick with posting your work here because not all of us are on Teams yet. I will also put this work on Teams though in case you want to complete it there instead.
Click on the link below and find your work for today.

  1. Hi Mrs. Armstrong,
I have been practising a lot of math lately on khan academy. Also I have been reading tons and tons of books on Epic.

    1. and make the words so this is what I have so far 🙂
      meat
      eat
      pare
      rare
      pear
      rap
      tap
      mat
      rat
      pat
      pet

  3. 72 because when you add up the two digits of all the numbers 72 is the only one that is odd.
66 because it is the only one that can be divided by 11.
93 because it is the only one that is odd.
72 because when you add up the two digits of all the numbers 72 doesn’t equal 12.

  4. Hi Mrs. Armstrong,

    For the WODB math problem.

    – 72 because if you add the digits it will = 9 and all the others = 12
    – 93 because it is the only odd number

  5. W.O.D.B.?
    93 72

    66 84

93 does not belong because it is the number closest to 100.
66 does not belong because it is the number closest to 1.
93 does not belong because it is the only number that is odd.
93 Also does not belong because all the other numbers like 72 on 72s right it has a 2 on 84s right it has a 4 on 66s right it has a 6 not is you put all three numbers on the right of 72 84 66 and pull them aside you will get 2 4 6 all in a pattern of skip counting two. But 93 does not fit in that pattern.

I hope you understood that. – Lauryn chiu 🙂

    1. I understood! If you were to describe it as the 1’s place, it may have been a bit clearer but I knew what you were talking about. That’s a great observation!

  6. Word work

    Math WODB

    93 66 84 72

72 84 and 66s second digits are a number in the 2 times table but 93 isn’t so I think that 93 is the odd one out.

  8. Word work:
    A , e , e , e , m , p , r , r , t , t , u
    At , rat , tear , meet , met , rear , tap , a , mat , map , art , eat , temperature , temper , meat , mutt.

    Math WODB:
93 66 84 72. 66 because it’s the only number with double the same number. 93 because it’s the only odd number

    Math:
You need to know how the kids get to school and you need to know the numbers on the side of the graph.

  9. I think that for the graphing assignment, the number of each colour is very important also the question they are asking needed to be very specific.

  10. Getting to school
I think the lines on the graph should go all the way across the graph.
I think the numbers on the side should have title like people.
The numbers on the side should have tiny lines in between to show the other numbers that they skipped.

  11. W.O.D.B.
    93 66 84 72
93 Does n’t belong because both digits are odd
    72 does n’t belong because 84=8+4=12,66=6+6=12,93=9+3=12,and 72=7+2is only 9.
