It is important that I get your reflection on the core competencies you are proud of this year. You must only choose two to reflect on, but I would love to read what you are proud of from this year! Look through your class work or this website (even check out what we did in Terms 1 and 2), or think back to your favourite parts of the school year!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Things I did this year that involved\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Communicating,<br \/>\nCollaborating,<br \/>\nCreative Thinking,<br \/>\nCritical Thinking,<br \/>\nSocial Responsibility,<br \/>\nPersonal Awareness and Responsibility,<br \/>\nor Positive Personal and Cultural Identity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-AK7qGuZJiFs\/WugADyy1h6I\/AAAAAAAARzE\/GIsWz1YBfYEJrnF3CpPfe5KRivKRpLnCQCK4BGAYYCw\/s1600\/CC.png\" alt=\"BC Core Competency self assessment with The Six Cedar Trees ...\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Secondly,<\/strong> I promised during our class meeting that I would read <strong><em>The Day You Begin<\/em> by Jacqueline Woodson<\/strong>, and we ran out of time! I have recorded it here, if you would like to listen. It is a beautiful story of self-value and hope!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Day You Begin\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RlNTI4PWemA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And lastly, we will have one more class meeting next <strong>Monday at 11:00 am<\/strong>, and followed by our regular meeting on <strong>Wednesday at 11:00 am<\/strong>. The Monday meeting will be to go over the assignments for the week, and the Wednesday meeting will be our &#8220;Sports Day&#8221; where we will play games like &#8220;This&#8221; or &#8220;That&#8221;, Kahoot!, hangman, or others!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks fabulous Division 2!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone!
