{"id":23,"date":"2019-09-13T22:24:01","date_gmt":"2019-09-13T22:24:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/andersonm\/?p=23"},"modified":"2019-10-22T00:01:41","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T00:01:41","slug":"first-full-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/andersonm\/2019\/09\/13\/first-full-week\/","title":{"rendered":"First Full Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week in Division 2, we had lots of fun doing a range of activities.<\/p>\n<p>We reviewed what we need to respect ourselves, others and our classroom, by making our class rules.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-26 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/andersonm\/files\/2019\/09\/weaving-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"190\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We filled out our Class Brain and\u00a0 (almost) finished a collaborative weaving project.\u00a0 Our Class Brain highlights our individual strengths, and what skills and talents we can share with each other.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/andersonm\/files\/2019\/09\/Brain-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"184\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We learned about a Hero of the Week (Malala Yousafzai).<\/p>\n<p>We designed our Dream Classrooms in group ADST projects.<\/p>\n<p>We learned about increasing patterns in Math, practiced finding and writing pattern rules.<\/p>\n<p>We counted in French and in ASL!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/andersonm\/files\/2019\/09\/Port-of-van-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>We even had a specia<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">l guest from the Port of Vancouver, who share<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">d with us about our upcoming field trip.\u00a0 We will be visiting the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Fraser\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">River Discovery Centre next Wednesday, September 18.\u00a0 (We are still looking for parent driver volunteers &#8211; if you are able to drive, please contact Ms. Anderson).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Overall, it was an active and energetic first full week.\u00a0 We are looking forward to more next week.\u00a0 Have a great weekend!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week in Division 2, we had lots of fun doing a range of activities.
