Hello families of Div. 6!<\/p>\n
We have had a busy and successful term of growth and learning. Students took some time this week reflecting on all that we have accomplished over the last few months. Please see their reflections below!<\/p>\n
Animal Inquiry Project<\/strong><\/p>\n The AIP presentation\/<\/span>research took<\/span> Div.6 <\/span>the whole month of February to complete this project. <\/span>First, <\/span>Ms. Yee<\/span> taught us <\/span>about some of the animals in BC<\/span>. <\/span>We went to the library and got b<\/span>ooks on different animals to choose what animal we are going to do<\/span>.<\/span> Secondly,<\/span> we did a sheet about<\/span> senses about<\/span> the<\/span> animals <\/span>that we picked<\/span>.<\/span> Later<\/span> we started to research the animals we picked and took not<\/span>es and finally we started to work on the projects.<\/span> We then went to Ms. <\/span>MacLeod,<\/span> and she<\/span> told us to start writing down the sources used for our project.<\/span> A lot of kids started on their AIP presentations. <\/span>Later, we learned about adaptations for our animal<\/span>,<\/span> Structural and Behavioral<\/span>. <\/span>After, we did a Biomes sheet and talked about our animal<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> habitat<\/span> and stewardship<\/span>. Finally, <\/span>we pre<\/span>sented in <\/span>othe<\/span>r<\/span> groups or to the whole clas<\/span>s<\/span>.<\/span> After<\/span> all that we <\/span>really felt <\/span>a deep sense<\/span> of accomplishment<\/span> and it was <\/span>an exceptionally pleasant experience<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n By: Ameerah, Kaylee, Nick, Logan and Zolna<\/p>\n\n\t\t
