Division 8 students are beading with the kindergartners from Ms. Campbell’s class.
Division 8 students have been involved in Young Actors Project. They are learning to express imagination and creativity through drama in front of their classmates. They have learned to communicate emotions, characters, and scenarios in both verbal and non-verbal situations.
Students have been doing science inquiry on animals and biomes that they live in. Here are some sample of models they have created.
Division 7 and 8 visited Chinatown, Dr. Sun Yat- Sen Garden to learn and to experience a little about the history of the Chinese immigration in British Columbia, living in the Ming Dynasty period in China, and some myths and stories connected to Chinese New Year. To cap it off, the students had a delicious lunch at a near by restaurant.
It’s that time of the year where few classes from Taylor Park go skating at Moody Park Arena. Here are a few pictures highlighting the fun that we had. Once again thank you to all the parents’ volunteers.
Division 17 and Division 8 worked together designing and making spooky houses with shapes.
Division 7 students are designing marble run mazes. Students are using creativity to design their mazes.
