Tomorrow is the last day of school before our holiday break. It will be regular hours of school.

PJ Day and Pancake Breakfast is tomorrow. Please have your child bring  a plate, cutlery and a mug (and a large Ziploc bag to place their things in) for the breakfast tomorrow. The students will have their picture with Santa before eating this year!

Library Books – overdue

Report Cards are going home today. Congratulations to all the students on their hard work. Please discuss how they are doing with them . Please remember to emphasize the positives and having a growth mindset for the areas they may need work on.

The class will also be bringing home a holiday ornament to decorate the home.

Bags and plastic bags to take some of their things home over the holiday break. – Friday

Bring Costume (jeans and plaid shirt) for afternoon performance and night performance. Students will need to line up out front with their families.  Doors will open at 6 p.m. tomorrow night. If you do not have tickets for the Tuesday evening show, you will be turned away due to the high demand for tickets.

Practice Science and one  Reader’s Theater Presentations – Wednesday or Thursday

Scholastic Book Fair  – Tuesday  night and Wednesday

Royal Icing and plate and or cardboard with tinfoil cover for Gingerbread houses. The recipe for the Royal Icing link is at the bottom of this blog.

Thursday – walking field trip to Burnaby Village Museum in the afternoon. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather since we will be outside.
